About The Y-House

The Y-house is a Belgian Multi-Award Winning Film Production company founded in 2019 by Henry Gillet, dedicated to the co-production of international audience and music-driven auteur films (prestigious festival contenders), with a strong artistic vision.

On march 2nd 2025, The OSCAR® for Best Live action Short film went to the Dutch film « I’m not a Robot », proudly co-produced with The Y-house!

FINANCIAL EXPERTISE

With our own investors network and a privileged access to bigger funds, we guarantee the Belgian Tax Shelter to the co-productions we will be associated with (Budget : €2M – €5M). We are eligible to all the Belgian sources of financing (national and regional subsidies, TV, VOD and SVOD presales) and work proactively to bring an MG against Benelux rights with the distributors.

FESTIVALS & AWARDS

Our co-productions have been selected in worldwide prestigious festivals such as Sundance, Austin, Tokyo, Sitges, etc. and brought back more than a hundred awards ! In Belgium, you will have been able to see our films selected or winning awards at Leuven International Film Festival (I’m Not A Robot – Audience award – 2023), at BIFFF (I’m Not A Robot – Méliès d’argent – 2024), at Film Festival Oostende (When Fucking Spring Is In The Air – COOP! competition – selection – January 2024) or Docville (Slave Island – Jury award, Belgian competition – 2025) !

On March 2nd 2025, during the 97th Academy Awards ceremony at the iconic Dolby Theater in Hollywood, our film « I’m Not A Robot » was part of the 5 nominees in the « BEST LIVE ACTION SHORT FILM » category (including Palme d’Or winner 2024 « The man who could not remain silent » and Netflix’s « Anuja » )…… « And the Oscar® went to : « I’m Not A Robot » !

In October 2025, alongside the soundtracks she already creates for her co-productions, The Y-house will officially open his Brussels-based Music Studio to worldwide producers looking for a creative place where composers, music producers, arrangers and musicians will cook your 100% « Made in Belgium » Original Soundtrack !

We released the single « Crossing Horizons » adapted from the Original Soundtrack of « When fucking spring is in the air » composed by Theophile Moussouni, and performed by the main actress of the film: Ada Szczepaniak!
